Face of Vizag

It is the face of Visakhaphapatnam since many years. It protects the Vizag Harbour as well ENC (Eastern Naval Command) and Visakhapatnam Port Trust’s dock.

Light House is situated on top of this hill and guides the approaching ships to Vizag.

It is a single, huge hillock of more than 300mts height and resembles the nose of a sea mammalian, called Dolphin hence it is popularly called by the name “Dolphin’s nose”.
